Green Business Recognition

Today, In Stride Physical Therapy was recognized at the Fremont City Council meeting as a Green Business. They recognized our efforts at conservation and protection of the environment through our ecologically sound business practices. We reduced our paper usage, continued our recycling of 100% of our paper waste, and switched our papers to recycled paper. We also installed low flow faucets. Then we switched to less harmful cleaning agents and organic massage lotions. We also switched from disposable paper cups to reusable plastic cups for our patients. At left, you can see the resolution that I received in front of the Fremont City Council. We are the first green physical therapy clinic in Alameda County. We'll have that distinction forever. Unfortunately, In Stride Physical Therapy will only be a Green Business until the end of the month when we close our doors. It was great while it lasted. I wouldn't change it for the world. If our status as a green business inspired even a few people to be more environmentally friendly, we will have made a larger difference than I had expected. Countdown: 26 more days until our lease ends 18 more work days until In Stride Physical Therapy closes 13 more days of patients
